Alan Weingarden, M.D.

Dr. Alan Weingarden is a board-certified neuro-ophthalmogist and oculoplastic surgeon who has practiced with St. Paul Eye Clinic since 1985.

He graduated summa cum laude from Macalaster College and then obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Tufts University in Boston, then returned to the University of Minnesota for subspecialty fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology. He also went to the prestigious Moorfields Hospitial in London for additional fellowship training in orbital diseases.

Dr. Weingarden s areas of interest include neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic surgery, and orbital disease. He also performs BOTOX injections for cosmetic facial rejuvenation and provides comprehensive eye care, including complete exams and contact lenses. He operates at Midwest Surgery Center, Phillips Eye Institute, United and Children s Hospital, and St. Paul Surgery Center
