Phillip Sheridan, M.D.

Dr. Phillip Sheridan was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and was raised in Rochester, Minnesota. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Sheridan attended Medical School at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He remained at the Mayo Clinic for an internship with specialized training in Otolaryngology, Neurology, and General Medicine. Dr. Sheridan completed his surgical training in the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine Ophthalmology Residency Program.

Dr. Sheridan is an experienced laser refractive surgeon, specializing in LASIK, PRK, and LASEK. He has performed thousands of refractive procedures, and is VISX-certified to perform the latest techniques in refractive surgery, including CustomVue Wavefront LASIK. He is also a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with special interest in cataract surgery and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Sheridan joined St. Paul Eye Clinic in 1997 and serves on the Clinic's Professional Standards Committee. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Midwest Surgery Center.

Dr. Sheridan's interests include athletics and automobiles. In his spare time, Dr. Sheridan can often be found coaching youth sports and playing basketball.
