Finding the right glasses for you.

With over 1,000 frames and lens designs available, our selection can be overwhelming. That’s where our experienced opticians can help. To determine what’s best for you, they will look at your prescription, the physical attributes of your face and your lifestyle, job and hobbies. You’ll then be guided to the best combination of frame and lens designs. We offer some of the most popular designer frames available, including Silhouette®, Kate Spade®, Giorgio Armani® and Juicy Couture®, Cole Haan®, Jimmy Choo®, to name a few.

While our frame selection is impressive, so is the variety of lenses available. We offer Zeiss® and Varilux® progressive no-line bifocal lenses, glare-free lenses, Transitions® lenses (darken outdoors), ultrathin high-index lenses, polycarbonate lenses, sports lenses, safety lenses and more. And with our onsite finishing labs, we can customize your lenses to your satisfaction.

Finding the right contact lenses.

Contact lenses are worn by millions of Americans with refractive abnormalities such as myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism (uneven focusing of light), hyperopia (farsightedness) and now presbyopia, which is the result in the need for bifocals. In addition, rare conditions such as keratoconus (cone-shaped cornea) may be better-addressed with contact lenses than with glasses. Our complete selection of daily-wear and extended-wear contacts includes:

  • Nearsighted lenses
  • Farsighted lenses
  • Toric lenses :: Correct astigmatism.
  • Bifocal lenses :: Correct both distant and near vision.
  • Colored lenses :: Enhance or change the color of your eyes.
  • Keratoconic lenses :: For people with keratoconus, symptoms of monocular double vision in which a person sees multiple images in each eye.

Your sunglasses headquarters.

Sunglasses do more than keep you from squinting. They protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) light that causes skin damage and sunburn. Scientific studies indicate that long-term exposure to the sun without eye protection can contribute to cataracts, macular degeneration and growths on the eye, including cancer. Therefore, we recommend patients, including children, wear 100% UV-absorbent sunglasses. St. Paul Eye Clinic also offers polarized sunglasses, which reduce the glare from light reflecting on water, roads, automobiles, snow and more.
