Youthful, refreshed-looking eyes can reflect how vibrant and healthy you feel on the inside. If you’re considering cosmetic services, it’s natural to seek a surgeon whose repertoire of skills can create the beautiful results you want.
At St. Paul Eye Clinic, our staff includes 13 board-certified ophthalmologists, some with advanced subspecialty training in oculoplastics, also known as “eye plastic” surgery.

BOTOX® injections are a safe, non-surgical, and FDA-approved way to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and face. It was originally introduced in the 1980s by ophthalmologists for the medical treatment of muscular spasms around the eye, an application that is still used today. BOTOX blocks the release of acetylcholine, which triggers muscle contractions, thus eliminating wrinkles for around 3 months. We offer both BOTOX and Xeomin® injections.

Dermal fillers are FDA-approved injectable gels made of hyaluronic acid (a natural complex sugar found in all living cells), which smooths out wrinkles and folds around the eyes, nose, and mouth, and plumps up cheeks and lips. These fillers are temporary and eventually are absorbed by the body, but effects last for approximately 6 months to a year. We offer both Juvederm® and BELOTERO® fillers.

Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing is a non-invasive technique to tighten skin, reduce wrinkles, and remove years of age and sun damage from your skin. The safe laser heats the deep layers of skin using advanced radiofrequency technology without damaging the epidermis (top layer of skin), causing the collagen in skin to contract and tighten. After treatment, your skin will start to produce new collagen, enhancing skin quality, firmness, and tightness.
Blepharoplasty (“Eye Lifts”)
Upper Eyelids: With time, excessive skin on the upper eyelid begins to droop and sag and can even touch the eyelashes. This excess skin creates a tired, fatigued, and older appearance. Makeup becomes difficult to apply and peripheral vision may be compromised. When significant vision is affected, blepharoplasty can be deemed medically necessary and covered by most insurances. With the low risk surgery, the excess skin and fat is removed to create a youthful and refreshed look while restoring vision.
Lower Eyelids: Eyelid bags and dark circles lend to looking older and fatigued, and they are impossible to hide behind makeup. Genetics, variations in anatomy, excess sun exposure, aging, and herniation of orbital fat can all contribute to the problem. Lower eyelid surgery can remove the excessive skin and unwanted bags to bring back your natural, youthful appearance and help maintain that look long term.

KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin”. KYBELLA® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat beneath the chin by physically destroying fat cells. Once destroyed those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
